Shooting Death Still Under Review

A Lakeland man's Jan. 4 shooting death is still under investigation, the Lakeland Police Department said.

Anthony D. Curtis, 23, was found shot to death in his home at 842 Channing Road about 9 p.m.

Investigators do not think it was a random act, spokesman Jack Gillen said.

The night of the shooting, neighbors on the street said they had heard talk that an argument between two young men resulted in the shooting, but police will not confirm any details about the investigation.
